* We wouldn't charge you the ridiculous import price that big chain stores do. Before you order, we can give you an estimate price on the item(s) you're interested in, not definite quotes unfortunately. That's because the price depends on the exchange rate of the time as well as customs & postage etc. Our estimate prices have never been out by more than about R10, so we're very accurate.
* Many big overseas online stores & labels don't want to accept your credit card because of Africa's high fraud rate. No problem if you order from us. * There's no risk, we do all the worrying for you. You don't have to worry about expensive postage costs, customs and even if your stuff's gonna arrive in one piece. * We try to throw in free stuff (CDs, posters, stickers etc.) with each order. People who place big orders are guaranteed some free stuff! It usually works on a first come, first served basis. * Once you've ordered from us, you will be added to our database which will enable you to receive news on the latest releases, special offers and local/international band and label news. * You're supporting South Africa's indepenent music scene. * If there is anything you see on the site or in any of our downloadable catalogues/lists that you would like to buy/order (or want further information on), then simply make use of the form below or get in contact with us via E-mail (niftyrecords@acenet.co.za) or via phone/SMS: 082 213 3788. * As soon as you've contacted us, we'll let you know when we're placing our next overseas order (usually at the end of each month or at the beginning of the next - roughly every 4 weeks) and we'll give you a rough estimate on the price of the item(s) you're interested in. In certain cases, you might be asked to pay a 50% deposit upfront (usually only with new customers). We will supply you with our bank details. We prefer you to bank the amount in cash or via an internet bank transfer, we DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES! * All our local music, local merch and a few imported CDs are in stock and are ready to be mailed as soon as you've gotten in contact and banked the required amount. ALL the other stuff (the majority of the stuff) on our site and in our catalogues/lists (imported music and merch) are NOT in stock and we have to order them for you from our supplier overseas. * Note that all the prices on the site and in our various catalogues/lists are POSTAGE EXCLUDED! Postage is an additional cost that will be added to your order total, you have the following two options: REGISTERED MAIL: R15 (Max of 2 CDs/DVDs etc.). This method is safe (it's traceable - you get a tracking number) and it's the cheapest option . It takes about 7 to 10 working days to reach its destination (your post office/box). This amount will only increase once you order more than 2 CDs or DVDs, but only slightly, to about R20 or R25, depending on the items' size and weight. Registered mail is not recommended when ordering clothing (shirts, hoodies etc.) and vinyl. SPEED SERVICES COURIERS: R30 (Max weight of 1kg. Plus/minus 8 CDs/DVDs etc. or less). This method is slightly more expensive yet also very safe (has a tracking number), a bargain if you think of it. It takes only 1 (next day) to 2 days to arrive at your post office counter (anywhere in South Africa)! This amount will only increase if your order is REALLY big and comes highly recommended when ordering clothing, vinyl or various items together (clothing, CD, DVD, book etc.). * Nifty is based in the northern suburbs of Pretoria, South Africa. If you live in Pretoria or don't mind driving through from Johannesburg (or wherever you live) then we'll gladly meet up with you in person, to make the exchange (which means you'll save the additional postage cost of your order!). We also often meet up with customers at local punk/hardcore shows. |
